Aquatic aeration is an important consideration when setting up your aquarium. When oxygen leaves the tank it must be replaced! If you do not have natural plants in your tank, an air pump can supply your tank with the necessary oxygen. The pump also agitates the water which prevents anything forming on the surface - the fish like it too!
