The Wisdom Panel 2.0 Canine DNA Test uses a quick and easy cheek swab to help provide you with DNA based insights to help you better understand your dog's own unique temperament, wellness needs, and appearance. Can Wisdom Panel identify the breeds in a dog that was born outside the UK?

The Wisdom Panel test was developed using pure breeds primarily from those found on the American Kennel Club and The Kennel Club (UK) registry lists. If your dog was imported from a country other than Canada, mainland US, Western or Northern Europe or you suspect that your dog’s ancestors are from outside these countries/regions; his breed ancestry may not be well represented in our database.

With nearly a decade of experience in canine genomics, Wisdom Health uses the largest dog breed database in the market to check for over 1,800 markers from 350+ different breeds, types and variants, to help over 700,000 dog owners so far learn valuable information about their pets

Provided in the kit are two cheek swabs to collect DNA from your dog's cheek. Both swabs are needed to improve the accuracy of the test, so use them only on one dog. You then activate your kit online, write your activation number on the sample sticker and pop the swabs in the post in the box they came in using the free postage paid shipping label provided. After two to three weeks your official report will be available for you online.
