Royal Canin Veterinary Gastro Intestinal GI 25 is a complete dog food designed to aid dogs suffering with intestinal absorption disorders. Densely packed with easily digested energy and elevated levels of vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes, Royal Canin’s Gastro Intestinal formula is ideal for dogs afflicted with inflammatory bowel disease, chronic or acute diarrhoea, malabsorption, maldigestion, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, gastritis, colitis, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, anorexia, or loss of appetite.

Also suitable for convalescence and for restoring malnourished dogs to health, Gastro Intestinal dog food is enriched with nutrients such as EPA-DHA fatty acids to help ensure optimal digestive health. What’s more, Royal Canin have formulated this recipe to be extra delicious to tempt dogs with decreased appetites, whilst the densely packed energy is ideal for nourishing such pets.

We recommend you seek an opinion from a veterinarian before beginning this diet. Once started, dogs with acute diarrhoea should be fed Veterinary Gastro Intestinal dog food for a period of one to two weeks, until the problem is resolved. Please do not feed Veterinary Gastro Intestinal to dogs with a history of pancreatitis, hyperlipidaemia, lymphangiectasia, or hepatic encephalopathy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solved my dogs problems! My Lhasa Apso pup has been ill on and off since we got her largely due to the fact she caught the parvo virus at 12 weeks. Since then she'd had no end of gastro problems with severe vomiting and diarrhoea almost continually. During her last episode the vet suggested we try this, since then she's improved dramatically, this is now the only food she eats - and she loves it; before we struggled to find anything she'd eat for more than a couple of days. We've cut out all of her treats and now her diet solely consists of this and boiled chicken/tuna as her treats. Would recommend this to anyone who's got a poorly pup or struggles to get them to eat....
